October 22, 2026
On Halter Loop, the day now starts at 8 a.m. Farmer's Milk Café & Bakery opens then every day, and so does Urban Crunch Creamery Cafe on weekdays. At the other end of the day, The Clubhouse golf simulator stays open until 11 p.m. most nights and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. In between there are a barber, a nail salon, a pet food shop, Korean fried chicken, Mediterranean bowls and cinnamon rolls.
The largest space in the center isn't on that list. The Hub at Lexington Oaks filled in from its small storefronts first. Its anchor, a 5,000-square-foot sports bar with seating for about 300 at 26951 Halter Loop, is the one still under construction. That order has made the Hub an all-day stop well before it has a game-night draw.
The Hub sits near Wesley Chapel Boulevard and Lexington Oaks Boulevard. It's a $24 million development with about 40,000 square feet of space, built by siblings Courtney Bissett-Hayes and Paul Bissett of Center Connect Development. The same company built The Hub at Bexley off State Road 54 in Land O' Lakes, according to the Wesley Chapel Record.
In May, Wesley Chapel Neighborhood News described a six-building center with more than a dozen restaurants and shops in the works. It reported the slogan "Sip, Savor and Socialize" and planned events, some with live music, around the center's artificial shade trees. That same report mentioned a grand opening "sometime in September." Nothing has confirmed that the event happened, and openings have kept arriving one at a time since then.
Here are the tenants, roughly in the order they opened:
| Business | Address | Opened |
|---|---|---|
| Headlines Barber Shop | 27053 Halter Loop | Spring 2026, first tenant |
| La Creación Bistro | 27073 Halter Loop | Soft opening by May 19, first restaurant |
| The Clubhouse golf simulator | Halter Loop | Spring 2026 |
| Pet Wants | 26939 Halter Loop | Spring 2026 |
| Bonchon | 27093 Halter Loop | May 20 |
| Lexington Nail Lab | 27105 Halter Loop | By early July |
| Hummus Republic | 26962 Halter Loop | July 20 |
| Cinnaholic | 27145 Halter Loop | August 21 |
| Farmer's Milk Café & Bakery | 27049 Halter Loop | August, reported as Aug. 17 or Aug. 25 |
| Urban Crunch Creamery Cafe | 26935 Halter Loop | October, after a mid-month grand opening target |
Every business on that list fits in a small storefront, and most of them are owner-operated or franchises.
The first door to open was a haircut. Headlines Barber Shop, a local chain with about a dozen Tampa Bay locations, opened at 27053 Halter Loop before anything else in the center. La Creación Bistro was the first restaurant. The Wesley Chapel Loop reported it was already in soft opening by May 19.
Several of the early tenants have local owners. The Clubhouse belongs to brothers Mark and Tyler Ward, both Wesley Chapel High graduates. Neighborhood News reported that more than 200 people had tried the simulator within its first couple of weeks. Players can choose from courses ranging from Augusta National to Heritage Isles Country Club. The Clubhouse's booking site lists six simulator bays. Pet Wants is a franchise owned by Nickole Davis, who previously owned All Good Things Gifts at the KRATEs. It sells fresh dog and cat food, natural chews and grooming products.
Bonchon opened May 20. Wesley Chapel News counted it as the sixth tenant to open, and Lexington Nail Lab was open by early July. By midsummer the Hub covered errands and a quick dinner. It didn't yet have much of a reason to stay longer.
The second wave of openings spread the Hub's hours further across the day.
Urban Crunch's arrival also links the Hub to its sister center. This is the family-owned brand's third storefront, after Odessa and The Hub at Bexley. The Wesley Chapel Community site reported that the business started with ice cream trucks in 2021. Its menu includes flavors such as Apple Strudel, Insta Graham and Lets Go Bananas.
Put the hours side by side and the center now runs from an 8 a.m. pastry to a midnight round of simulator golf on weekends. Every one of those hours is covered by a small storefront.
The space at 26951 Halter Loop has been planned as a restaurant for more than a year. In September 2025, plan review documents listed that address for a new location of The Landing Bar & Grill, the Valrico restaurant owned by Mike Goodwin, according to What Now Tampa.
The concept going into the space now is a different Goodwin restaurant. Tampa Joe's closed its Anderson Road location in Tampa after March 2, 2026, and is moving to the same Halter Loop address. The Wesley Chapel Record reported that plan review paperwork filed in March 2026 confirmed it. Goodwin told Business Debut in April that the move followed a chance to sell the Anderson Road property. He said the old site had depended on movie theater traffic, while the Hub puts the restaurant among businesses that suit the concept better.
The Wesley Chapel location is built for game days. The Wesley Chapel Loop reported a space of about 5,000 square feet with room for around 300 people and an outdoor patio. The Record added a 20-by-7-foot video wall above the bar. The menu carries over bacon-wrapped beef tips with hollandaise, pizza, wings and the Tampa Joe's Cuban, a grouper sandwich that can be ordered with Cajun seasoning.
The timing has slipped. In April, Goodwin said his goal was "the first or second week of July." As of the Record's Oct. 6 report, that target had passed and no firm opening date had been announced. The space with the most seats, the biggest screen and the strongest pull for a night out is the one the rest of the center is still waiting on.
A few other businesses have been announced for the Hub but haven't confirmed an opening. In May, Neighborhood News listed Saigon Pho, The Monk's Indian Fusion Cuisine, Island Grill and Suncoast Charging as still to come. At the time, Saigon Pho's owners hoped to open sometime in July. A January lineup from the same outlet described Brew Bar Self Pour as sharing space with Urban Crunch. As of mid-October, none of them has announced an opening date. Anyone planning a visit should check the business's own page first.
Getting to the Hub from the interstate should also get easier. FDOT is widening the southbound I-75 Exit 279 ramp to add dual left-turn lanes toward eastbound CR 54 and Wesley Chapel Boulevard. The $1.7 million project started Oct. 5, and the FDOT project page estimates completion in spring 2027. Overnight lane closures are posted weekly on FDOT's Pasco County closures page.
As of early October, Tampa Joe's had no opening date, and the ten businesses in the table above were open on Halter Loop.
